WELCOME

Born and raised in Brooklyn, NY, Adara attended the Actor's Studio MFA Program, studying under luminaries such as Elizabeth Kemp, Susan Aston and Louis Colaianni. Career highlights include: Edward Allan Baker’s DOLORES (ASDS Repertory) in which she worked directly with the playwright, and Cyn Cooper's I WAS A STRANGER TOO (finalist: The Jewish Plays Project 2022, produced by Remember the Women Institute).

Adara’s work is deep…[she is] disciplined, professional, genuine and the real deal when it comes to acting.

Most recently, Adara was featured in RETROSPECTIVE, a new 90-minute comedy that premiered Off-Broadway as part of the Broadway Bound Theatre Festival 2025 (broadwayboundfest.com). She was also featured as ‘Mother’ in SLEEPING MOTHER, a short that screened at the ‘Elinor Bunin Monroe Film Center at Lincoln Center’ in Fall 2025 (filmlinc.org), as well as the tv series CODE SWITCH, currently seeking distribution (you can check out the trailer below). She is currently a local to NYC and Maui.

You are a brilliant fucking actress!

MORE ABOUT ME: Adara stepped into the world of the stage as a teen when her HS English teacher nudged her into auditioning for the Lincoln Center Theatre: Open Stages Program, a non-for-profit designed to acquaint NYC public school kids to theatre through acting, playwriting and movement classes. She received her BA as a double major in English Literature and Italian Studies at NYU. After earning her MFA, Adara continued studying privately with her acting teachers Elizabeth Kemp (coach to Bradley Cooper, Hugh Jackman) and Susan Aston (coach to James Gandolfini). She has also studied with Anthony Abeson (Jennifer Aniston) and Adrienne Weiss. Most recently, she has continued to explore different approaches to film, TV, and the stage at The Barrow Group (alums include Anne Hathaway, Tony Hale).

She is a former fitness instructor, current yogi, and once-upon-a-time fashionista and model! She loves exploring everything mind body and soul and can be found writing, dancing or watching film classiques in her Brooklyn home when not acting. She is also a huge fan of Zen Buddhist Monk Thich Nhat Hahn.
