— Susan Aston, coach to James Gandolfini
MORE ABOUT MOI: Adara stepped into the world of the stage as a teen when her HS English teacher nudged her into auditioning for the Lincoln Center Theatre: Open Stages Program, a non-for-profit designed to acquaint NYC public school kids to theatre through acting, playwriting and movement classes. She received her BA as a double major in English Literature and Italian Studies at NYU. After earning her MFA, Adara continued studying privately with her acting teachers Elizabeth Kemp (coach to Bradley Cooper, Hugh Jackman) and Susan Aston (coach to James Gandolfini). She has also studied with Anthony Abeson (Jennifer Aniston) and Adrienne Weiss. Most recently, she has continued to explore different approaches to film, TV, and the stage at The Barrow Group (alums include Anne Hathaway, Tony Hale).
She is a former fitness instructor, current bartender-ess and once-upon-a-time fashionista and model! She loves exploring everything mind-body-soul and can be found writing, moving or watching film class-iques in her Brooklyn home when not acting. She is also a huge fan of Zen Buddhist Monk Thich Nhat Hahn.
